Convergence Design Lab bring together interdisciplinary perspectives, grounded in core expertise in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Interactive System Design. Our work recently focuses on understanding and designing novel XR/AI interactions, systems, and applications across a wide range of domains—including education, museums, art & culture, productivity & creativity support tools, smart homes, digital twins, spatial marketing, and more.

My research vision is to bring embodied interactions in designing future products, systems, contents, tools, and services in a systematic and human-centric way. Advanced technologies including AR, VR, artificial intelligence, and computer vision, open up new opportunities to capture and employ knowledge that has been implicitly embedded in our daily actions, behaviours, poses, and movements; and I aim to bring this knowledge into digital content/systems to create more enjoyable experiences.
