Week 16: Final Paper Submission
Opening Questions
- Does the paper allow a reader to understand and evaluate the complete study?
- Can every major claim be traced back to appropriate evidence?
- What should future researchers or designers learn from this work?
Learning Goal
Synthesize the full research process into a rigorous final paper that clearly documents the question, rationale, method, results, findings, implications, and supporting materials.

Homework
- Deliverable #4 · [Final Paper] Design Research Study Submit the fully integrated and revised Sections 1–10 using the course paper template, together with the required appendices and supporting materials. View Deliverable #4 · [Final Paper] Design Research Study DueDec. 18
- Prep The final paper should read as one coherent research argument, not as a collection of unrevised weekly homework.
- Prep Use the Week 15 Final Paper Revision Plan to complete the final accuracy, coherence, evidence, figure, citation, appendix, and accessibility checks.
- Deliverable 4 Submit the complete and revised version of the shared master manuscript developed throughout the semester. The final paper should present one coherent research argument from the research context and question to the design rationale, method, evidence, contribution, and design implications. Do not simply combine earlier homework without revision. Update terminology, RQs, hypotheses, condition descriptions, methods, figures, and claims so that every section accurately represents the final study. The paper should be understandable as an independent research document without requiring the reader to have attended the team’s presentations. View Deliverable 4 Due2026.12.18
